Dr. Tammi Love is an outreach champion, strategist, and thought leader with over 20 years of experience engaging audiences, cultivating leaders, and building transformative initiatives across nonprofit, faith-based, and higher education spaces.

Currently serving as the Co-Founder and Vice President of the Mbele Leadership Foundation, she helps to lead a global leadership nonprofit committed to developing ethical, culturally grounded leaders through education, service, and international engagement. Central to her work is Journey of Jewels, an empowerment movement she founded to help women uncover, honor, and activate the “jewels” within their lived experiences. Through cohorts, workshops, and storytelling-centered programming, Journey of Jewels supports women navigating seasons of transition, renewal, and purpose-driven leadership.

An ordained elder with Christian Mission Ministry International, based in Kenya, Dr. Love’s leadership reflects a deep integration of faith, justice, and global service. Her professional background also includes years as a Strategy Consultant, with international experience partnering with non-governmental organizations in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania to advance solution-oriented leadership and community-centered development.

A native of Kansas City, Dr. Love began her career at Kansas State University, where she served in multicultural alumni engagement, student organization advising, and support of the National Pan-Hellenic Council—work that continues to inform her commitment to culturally responsive leadership and inclusive spaces. Her passion for leadership development extended to her continued intentional guidance on college campuses, to include her recent leadership role at Central State University as the Director of Admissions.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications (Electronic Journalism) from Kansas State University, a Master of Business Administration from Fontbonne University, and a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Regent University. Widely recognized for her gifts in oration, marketing, and collaboration, Dr. Love is a proud member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.

Dr. Love is the wife of Bishop Jawwad J. Love, with whom she co-leads in ministry and global service. Together, they are the proud parents of two young adult daughters, Lexi and Lisha, and are deeply committed to legacy-building rooted in faith, leadership, and community impact.
