As we celebrate and embrace the warm feelings of the holidays, let us remember those who are hurting, those who are lacking. Not everyone greets the holidays with great anticipation of joy. Right now as some are rejoicing there are others of all races, creed and religion who are grieving and struggling and yet holding on with a worn and defeated spirit. Let us remember them, let us reach out to them, let us pray for them. The Bible says,

“Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep.” – Romans 12:15 New Living Translation
