In our celebration of leaving a year behind, looking anxiously to the New Year ahead, hoping for something better than what’s been, let us also remember and reflect. Let us, daringly, peruse our stored away thoughts and experiences to take another look at opportunities missed – opportunities to show kindness, opportunities to do better, opportunities to speak words of life, opportunities to give and opportunities to love. Yes, we may ask God to bless us abundantly, above what we can think or ask, but what then will we render to God for the blessing of another opportunity to “be”, to breathe in a new year, a new moment we have never seen before.  What will you render to God for all He’s done for you? What will you give? Ponder it.
